Araki. Tokyo

Consider that the visit to all Die Pinakotheken and the Museum Brandhorst only cost the ridiculous fee of 1 € on Sundays, visit a new exhibition or have time to explore the permanent collections is the best excuse to get out of the sofa on the laziest day of the week.

The exhibition Araki. Tokyo about the Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki is a must-see. Araki is known for his erotic pictures and for being a provoking person. This exhibition shows the work Tokyo from 1969 to 1973 with photos of him and his wife, who died in 1990, and also architectural and plants photographs.

His work is a trip among the anonymous and familiar, clothed and naked, public and private. A worth visit.

You can visit he Araki. Tokyo exhibition until the 4th of March of 2018 at Pinakothek der Moderne
