Top Concerts in March

March is the month when the spring begins and as the flowers begin to bloom, the concerts fill the calendar, especially the first day of the month. Let’s see what is going on this month in terms of music.

  • Thursday 1st: Alvvays (Ampere). Sweet twee-fuzz pop to dance with your partner.
  • Thursday 1st: Ghostpoet (Feierwerk). An unusual rapper that talks about refugee crisis and other meaningful topics.

  • Thursday 1st: Chicos de Nazca + Ippio Payo (Import Export). Psychedelia and rock.
  • Thursday 1st: The Babe Rainbow (Unter Deck). Music for feeling like you were in the 70s giving free love to everyone.
  • Friday 2nd: Soul Kitchen Band (Schlachthof). Are you a soul man (or woman)?
  • Sunday 4th: Laibach (Muffathalle). They were the first western band that played in North Korea and use elements of propaganda in a claiming way.
  • Monday 5th: The Rural Alberta Advantage (Hansa 39). Americana and rock music.
  • Wednesday 7th: The Soft Moon (Feierwerk). Intense, mysterious, post-punk, darkwave and industrial music.
  • Friday 9th: Dillon (Technikum). Dillon has a velvety voice and a unique sensitivity.
  • Saturday 10th: The Garden (Milla Club). These guys are troublemakers and know how to have fun.

  • Sunday 11th: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (Theaterfabrik). Do you want to see a really good show? Then, buy the tickets now. Psychedelia, rock, punk, and sweat.
  • Monday 12th: Dent May (Milla Club). Synthesizers and pop music.
  • Tuesday 13th: The James Hunter Six (Ampere). Elegance, rhythm, and blues.
  • Wednesday 14th: Anvil (Backstage). The legendary band of power metal that influenced bands like Slayer.
  • Friday 16th: Blond (Strom). Watch and follow the choreographies that this trio makes on the stage. Let’s dance!

  • Wednesday 21st: Ibeyi (Münchner Kammerspiel). Cuban sounds with a modern twist in Spanish and Yoruba, a Nigerian language that arrives in Cuba in the XVIII century.
  • Saturday 24th: The Underground Youth + Blue Haze (Import Export). Dark psychedelic post-punk music.
  • Monday 26th: Joan Baez (Philarmonie im Gasteig). The queen of American folk visits us. Nothing more to say.
  • Tuesday 27th: Star Wars in Concert (Philarmonie im Gasteig). If you are a big fan of the saga, you have several opportunities to see this concert from 27th of March until 1st of April.
