double trouble / double grins / is it so with / twins

Are twins connected in a special way? Can they fell what their sibling is feeling at the same time? What is like share exactly the same facial features? How do you feel when you can see yourself but in another person? What about individuality?

All these questions form part of the fact of being twins and are the starting point for the exhibition double trouble/ double grins/ it is so with/ twins at the Lothringer 13halle. The collective exhibition count with the works of art of Roger Ballen, Joseph Beuys, Rita Hensen, Jun Fujiyasu, Jorge Méndez Blake or Alighiero (e) Boetti, just to name a few. As they say, “the exhibition is dedicated to the fascination of the individual as a multiple”. Curated by Lene Harbo Pedersen, artworks from the last century, science, myths, and arts cohabit in this space to raise some questions about how fascinating human beings could be.

The double trouble/ double grins/ it is so with/ twins will be available at the Lothringer 13Halle from the 30th of June to the 22nd of September. More info in the Lothringer 13Halle website.
