Plans in Munich: From 7th to 11th of August

7th of August: Concert – 50 years of Embryo (Import Export). The legendary band from Munich celebrates its 50 anniversary with a concert inviting the Afghan artists Abdul Samad Habibi and Parviz Ayan. Before, the documentary Embryo der Film – A journey of Music and Peace will be shown. The event begins at 5.30 pm. Donations are welcome.

8th of August: Exhibition – Zugang für Alle (Pinakothek der Moderne). Guided tour in English through the exhibition Zugang für Alle, about Brasil and its architecture. 9th of August: Party – Groooovy Classics (Capri Edition) w/ COEO b2b VELI x VIWO (Saluti di Capri). With the motto “Amore, Disco und Spumante”, this party invades the Saluti di Capri pop-up open-air bar at the Olympiapark with music from COEO and VELI x VIWO. From 6 pm. Free entry.

9th of August: Film – I Killed my Mother (Eine Welt Haus). The first film of the acclaimed Canadian director Xavier Dolan, is shown in this open-air cinema. More information about this event at the Eine Welt Haus website.

10th of August: Party – Okay Kiosk Open Air (Kiosk 1917). The electronic music project Okay Kiosk will offer the perfect after-work for Friday. From 3 pm. Free entry.

10th of August: Inspiration – Radlnacht (Königsplatz). One of the best things about summer is the pleasure of riding a bike with this kind of freedom feeling. The Radnacht is an event where a big group of people shares their passion for bikes and take a ride through the city together. From 7 pm to 10 pm. Free access.

10th of August: Festival – Hans-Sachs-Straßenfest (Hans-Sachs-Straße). The neighborhood of Glockenbach celebrates this street festival with food, drinks, and music. From 1 to 11 pm. Free admission.

10th of August: Eksotik Meksotik Schmachtfetzen und Dance Gelage (Import Export). Party with an eye on the city of Istambul and its interculturality. Arabic sounds, psychedelia, and Mediterranean vibes thanks to the DJs Süperfly, the bands Lucile and the Rakibuam & Pnema and the selectors Thur Deephrey and JJ Whitefiled.
