It’s always good to know the history and anecdotes of the city where you live and discover some curious facts, personalities, and places. The Münchner Stadtmuseum proposes an exhibition about typical things from Munich, called Typisch München. In the exhibition, you will learn about more than 850 years of history, see how their citizens used to live and how they live today, what belongs to the city and what makes it unique.
This is a permanent exhibition you can visit from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. However, some Wednesdays (like the 13th of November) they offer a guided tour until 8 pm (in German). If you don’t understand German, audioguides in different languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian) are always available at no extra cost. Servus München!
