The Kunstfoyer VKB offers this retrospective about the photographer and civil engineer O. Winson Link, who documented the life in North America when the steam locomotives were having their last days.
The exhibition is full of images of the railway stations and all around them and comprises 120 photographies, sound recordings, and sketches from 1955 to 1960.
Some pictures are like paintings, remind to artists like Edward Hopper or Charles Sheeler with a unique vision and capturing a special atmosphere.
The exhibition has free admission and will be available until the 26th of January. It’s open daily from 9 am to 7 pm. More information on the Versicherungskammer Kulturstiftung website.
