Most of the people would say Munich is a posh city, and it’s true. But like every city in the world, it has its hidden treasures, its underground places out of the typical circuits. Ok, it’s not like Berlin, where you find “dirty locations” (in all respects), and parties in every corner and everything is so spontaneous, but you can find everything if you know how to do it.
Zur Gruam is a small bar located near the Alte Utting that opens until late (in Google Maps said it’s open until 6 am, but it can be longer depending on the day). The entry is free, and although it’s a narrow place, there is always a little space to dance if you want (and you aren’t a big group of people). The prices are fair and they always host DJs that play some techno, house and electronic music in a relaxed atmosphere. The only problem can be that the place is full and you have to wait a bit, so if you go in winter and it’s cold, we recommend to go early.
