11 Internationales Fünf Seen Filmfestival
July 27, 2017 @ 12:00 am - August 5, 2017 @ 12:00 am
I can’t think of a better plan than spend the day in a lake and going to see a movie in the afternoon or at night. The Fünf Seen Filmfestival, as its name indicates, is celebrated around five different lakes from 27th of July until 5th of August.
Starnberg See, Wörthsee, Seefeld, Wesslinger See and Ammersee are the lakes around which the festival takes place.
Documentaries, short films, emergent and recognized directors and a selection of international films are what you are going to find in this festival. This year the host country is Hungary, and also Taiwan, India and the region of South-Tirol as have been usual the last years.
Some of the films you can watch are: It’s not the time of my life, within the section FSFF Preis (the best productions of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Hungary), Home is here, within the section Perspektive Junges Kino (the freshener and youngest films), Untitled, within the section Dokumentarfilmpreis (the best documentaries), Free Lunch Society, within the section Horizonte (films about how the world is changing), Estiu 1993 (Summer 1993), Maudie, within the section Publikumpreis (films of international festivals), Parasite Island, within the section Odeon (films about art, dance, theater, etc.) and many other films as the short films #Selfie, Blind Audition or When Demons die, to name a few.
The Hungarian director István Szabó and the German-Austrian actress Eva Mattes are the special guests of this edition. Also, they have an open air cinema program and a program for kids, to enjoy the experience with the whole family.
