Is in terms of music everything invented? Of course not. The Frameworks Festival, which has been taking place annually since 2011, sees itself as a platform for new musical positions between abstract composition and different global subcultures. The result is three days of unconventional and innovative independent music.
The festival, organized by the people behind Frameless and planned from 14 to 16 March 2019, aims to deepen the musical focus on experimental electronic music, but also in pop, alternative and classical music, genres that are deconstructed, alienated or contrasted with sound experiments.
This year, the percentage of female artists is more than 60%, including Soho Rezanejad from Copenhagen, Shida Shahabi from Stockholm, or Ipek Gorgun from Istambul, just to name a few.
Other artists included in the line-up of the festival are Group A, from Tokyo and Berlin and Prison Religion from Richmond, both playing on Thursday. Tape Loop Orchestra from Manchester will play on Friday with Hirsk from Hong Kong and Shida Shahabi. On Saturday, Gazelle Twin from London will play with Soho Rezanejad and Ipek Gorgun. Three days to discover and feel new interesting music from all over the world.
