One of the best things of Germany is its tradition of Kaffee & Kuchen (Coffee & Cake). Like the tea and biscuits for the British, the time for a coffee and a piece of cake is a sweet treat perfect to satisfy your hunger during the time between lunch and dinner.
Haus der Kunst proposes a gastronomic and artistic afternoon with a guided tour of the Kiki Smith‘s exhibition Procession, and an afternoon snack at the Goldenen Bar. You only have to choose a hot beverage and a piece of cake and enjoy of a lovely afternoon.
The exhibition Procession shows the study of the human body and the human condition by Kiki Smith. Maybe what she shows is not pleasant, but that is mainly what art is about. Art should provoke a feeling, and in this case, Smith’s present topics like death, birth, sexuality, gender and fears that for sure will impress you.
