Münchner Science & Fiction Festival

April 13 @ 6:00 pm - April 15 @ 6:00 pm

€10

Science is not magic, but it’s just as fascinating. Mathematics, astronomy, and science are everywhere and can explain what we can’t understand. If you have always fantasized about another planets and galaxies or about a future plenty of robots, the Münchner Science & Fiction Festival is for you!

This interdisciplinary festival brings together science-fiction, art, culture, creativity and science. They open on Friday with an Impro Theater show called “Technology, Robots, Villains and Heroes”, then a discussion about science and science fiction and a musical and visual show from outer space with the artists Roberto Cométo & Alexa Bêrg.

On Saturday they will screen the cult animation series Rick & Morty. After that, Tim Brügmann will talk about aliens and Brainboost Neurofeedback will present an interactive panel about mental fitness training. The artist Klara Ravat will present (in English) a project about the scents of other planets and she will also make a workshop about it during the festival. The Marsellus Moon – Space Arquestra will close the night with a cosmic jazz session from a distant jazz galaxy.

The last day they will present a scrap robot contest and will screen another animated cult series, Adventure Time. On the same day (Sunday) at 6 pm will be a literature discussion.

On top of that, there will be art installations in the different spaces of the festivals with suggestive titles as “All colors are beautiful” or “Lights & Guts” to name a few. Three days to enjoy science-fiction to the fullest!
