The Noise Mobility festival at the Glockenbachwerkstatt is celebrating its ten years of life. This also coincides with the forty anniversary of this emblematic Munich’s place and the twenty anniversary of the Balkanet. So the idea is clear, we have to celebrate!
The 7th and the 8th of June, the Noise Mobility Festival will offer concerts, panels, exhibitions, and a DIY flea market. The perfect time to discover experimental rock music bands enjoy performance art and stimulating acts. Beyond the mainstream, this festival shows the multiple sides of the European and even International subculture.
Some of the concerts we can watch in this edition are the project of IPPIO PAYO & Genelabo, who will perform Nobody Answers Questions – An Audiovisual Journey, NAQ will offer a show that punches direct to the belly, something that is uncomfortable, but is real. The concert of Tripes from Paris will be like a trance experience and the opera singer and the drummer Basheskia & Edward EQ from Sarajevo will offer a unique show that goes between trip-hop, classical and electronic music. To ice the cake on Friday, the Dj Florian Keller will mix with love some soul, funk, jazz…
On Saturday, the sisters November Six 30-40′ from Serbia will offer some folk and dream-pop music. The Groznycorp, a band from Bosnia and Herzegovina will play some electro garage pop, and the Bosnian band InTheRoom will bring some experimental electronic music. For its part, Helado Infinito from Chile and Argentina will play dreamy songs about love, travels, and existentialism. Dj-ane Jasmina, a veteran of the Bosnian electronic scene will be responsible for the after-party on Saturday. The Djs Sijah & Kolenda who run their own party series called Die Tanznacht will be also closing the night of Saturday.
Included on the side acts of the festival is the exhibition Femicomix, curated by the publisher Komikaze. The project shows the works of 34 female comic artists making visible that women love comics too, and they are also great artists. On Saturday the collective Symposion will bring a discussion about pop culture and music with the sound engineer and cultural worker Darko Saračević, the audiovisual artists Predrag Vitner and Petar Mitric and the musician and promoter Asmir Sabic. Let’s make some noise!
