Fans of the Nouvelle Vague out there, we have good news for you! The Filmmuseum München organize a film series starred by the French actress Jeanne Moreau.
During the month of February, and starting on the 30th of January with the film Mademoiselle – In Original Version (English) at 6.30 pm -, we will be able to watch more than 10 films where Jeanne Moreau has a role as a lead actress or supporting actress.
Two of these films were directed by Moreau herself: Lumière (Saturday 2nd of February at 9 pm and Tuesday 12th of February at 6.30 pm) and L’adolescente (Sunday 3rd of February at 9 pm and Wednesday 13th of February at 6.30 pm). Both films will be screened in Original Version with English Subtitles (OmeU).
Other awesome films in OmeU are Querelle directed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder (Friday 8th February at 9 pm), L’absence directed by Peter Handke (Saturday 16th of February at 9 pm) O Gebo e a Sombra (Sunday 24th of February at 9 pm) directed by Manuel Oliveira.
Apart from that, you can watch some films in original version with German subtitles like Until the End of the World directed by Wim Wenders o Le Temps qui Reste directed by François Ozon, among others. It’s time to experience romantic stories in black and white about youth through the screen. It’s the time of Joie de Vivre!
